Like the bills we have been monitoring throughout the session, this bill repeals the statute establishing FLVC and creates two new organizations housed within the University of West Florida.

Complete Florida Plus Program

  • Will provide distance learning/student support services similar to those currently provided by FLVC, as well as the Complete Florida Degree Initiative (previously called the Complete Florida Degree Program, already in existence at UWF) and a K-20 student advising system.

Florida Academic Library Services Cooperative

  • Will provide library support services similar to those currently provided by FLVC.
  • Must make all e-resources licensed for 4-year degree seeking students available to all 4-year degree seeking students. We are currently working to determine the impact of this language on the statewide collection.
  • Will be overseen by a director who reports to the director of UWF’s Complete Florida Plus Program.

All FLVC personnel and assets will transfer to UWF by the legislatively mandated deadline of December 31, 2014."

to better serve you when you need assistance using our services.

We’re pleased to announce that on February 12, we will begin providing customer support to all of our users – students, college and university library staff,
institutional distance learning and student services staff, faculty, and others – in this new, consolidated Help Desk environment.

The Help Desk is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. If you need assistance during those times, simply email us at help@flvc.org,
or call us toll-free at 1-877-506-2210. Email support is available after hours until 8:00 p.m. ET.
